9 words

My mother in law sent this to me and I am tempted to print it, put it in a frame and hang it in our bedroom. I might just make a small one, laminate it and put it in his wallet! Nah, but seriously this is so true, at least for me it is!

NINE WORDS WOMEN USE
(1) Fine: This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

(2) Five Minutes: If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.

(3) Nothing: This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in fine.

(4) Go Ahead: This is a dare, not permission. Don't Do It!

(5) Loud Sigh: This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing. (Refer back to # 3 for the meaning of nothing.)

(6) That's Okay: This is one of the most dangerous statements a women can make to a man. That's okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.

(7) Thanks: A woman is thanking you, do not question, or faint. Just say you're welcome. (I want
to add in a clause here - This is true, unless she says 'Thanks a lot' - that is PURE sarcasm and she is not thanking you at all. DO NOT say 'you're welcome' . That will bring on a 'whatever').

(8) Whatever: Is a woman's way of saying *%@# YOU!

(9) Don't worry about it, I got it: Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking 'What's wrong?' For the woman's response refer to # 3.

trying the bike out (1-2-09)

I went to take a test for the Census Burea about a hour and a half away from our house. So, Brett had the girls all day. Being the awsome Dad that he is he took the girls to the park to try out Maddy's new bike. Auntie Debbie and the kids also went and played basketball. Brett even took pictures. He can be so thoughtful.

Welcoming 2009!

We went to a get together at Church for New Years Eve. We ate, played board games and the Wii! It was a fun time! We are so blessed to have a wonderful church family. Brett and I neither one have much family here so it is nice to have people in our lives that are like family. The Lord has truly blessed us in so many ways!

2 little girls and 1 BIG Christmas tree

I was ready to take the Christmas tree down the day after so Brett and I packed everything away, put the big tree in the box. Brett told Maddy "take the tree to the basement"! She says "come on sis, help me". They seriously pushed the tree box all the way down the hallway, to the basement door. It was so cute! God, I just love having girls!

Christmas Day at Grandmas

We have dinner at Grandma Wyndy's house on Christmas. The Cabrales' were running behind (as usuall :) Debbie called and asked Brett to come out when they got there. She said she was having some problems with the lights on the van. Brett thought something was up but he went outside anyway and this is what happened....

SiLlY sTrInG!!

Santa came

I thought I would post a few pictures of Christmas morning. The girls got waaayyy to many gifts. I guess I got a little carried away. Maddy did not even want to finish unwrapping her gifts. She just wanted to play her video game. Jace liked the paper more than the gifts. That is what I expected!!

Yea, a new bike!

Turn your head sideways for this one!

Awww...Jace loves her babies!

New ornaments!

Every year we get new ornaments. Here are the ones we added to our collection this year.

All tucked in...

...and waiting on Santa! Maddy is old enough to understand what this Santa thing is all about and she did not like it at all! She did not want to go sit on Santa's lap this year, she said she would just call him on is cell! We finally got her to go to bed and not be freaked out about some old man that was going to come to our house in the middle of the night. I guess it is kinda freaky! She likes Christmas being Jesus Birthday better!!

Santa was having some technical difficulties! We bought the bike in St. Louis and it was easier to hide it from Maddy on the way home.

getting ready for Santa

Maddy and Sophie posing in front of the tree!! You know, I did not want a Dog but Sophie has grown on me. She is a great Dog and POTTY TRAINED!!

Cookies for Santa and you have to leave carrots for the Rain Deer!! I bet they appreciate them.

Umm...Jacelyn was not wanting to take a picture (as usuall!) I was trying to get one good one before they went to bed...that did not work.

Christmas Eve at Poppeys and Grannys

CHRISTmas lights

We went to see the Christmas lights at Angottis. The place is about 30 mionutes from our house. The gentleman who runs it goes to our church and every year his yard is decked out. We enjoy driving through it!

This is our house with lights (duh!). Brett thinks he is an elf! If he would have had more time there would have been a bunch more. Let me tell you, we have stocked up on all the clearence lights so next year you should be able to see us from Mars! It was snowing the night I took the picture but I don't think you can tell :(
